Why hydroponics?

Gardening made simple
Not everyone is born with two green thumbs, but hydroponics will make you look like you were. Hydroponics takes out the extra maintenance steps of watering and soil nutrient care. Plants can grow faster using this self-watering method.

Adding a pump to your water reservoir on a timer allows you to water once and let the system take care of the rest while conserving more water than traditional gardening.

Type of hydroponics systems
Drip system
Use a pump, on an outlet timer, to move water to each plant which can drip water back into the water reservoir.
Flood & drain
Use a pump, on an outlet timer, to move water into the upper reservoir. Use an overflow valve to make sure the water does not go higher than a height you determine. Once the pump turns off, all water will return to the lower water reservoir.
Nutrient film technique
Use a pump, on an outlet timer, to move water to the top of a tilted tray of plants where the roots are exposed inside. The base of the tilted tray will return water back into the water reservoir.
Water culture
Use a pump to circulate water in a reservoir. Allow plant roots to grow and reach the water reservoir for continuous watering.
Wick system
Use a pump to circulate water in a reservoir. Use a wick-like cord to absorb water from the water reservoir and bring it to each plant for continuous watering.
